Portable Challenges Davido to a Hit Battle, He Just Got Arrested by Burna Boy for Defamation of Character.

The controversial singer has reacted to Davido's recent $1 million hit-song battle challenge, boldly declaring that he has more hit songs than the Afrobeats superstar. "I'm here to challenge Davido say I get hit pass am, I get hit pass you Davido," he said, adding that his collaborations with Olamide and Skepta prove he has what it takes.

Davido had earlier put $1 million on the table and dared any artist to face him in a hit-for-hit contest, insisting that nobody has more hits than him. Portable, never one to miss a viral moment, jumped in immediately, even boasting that he just needs to "enjoy the financial rewards" of his music success.

But here is what the blogs did not tell you.

The real reason Portable is so eager to take on Davido is not because he believes in his catalogue. It is because he already has two different women pregnant and is desperately looking for money to cover the naming ceremonies. Both women are due within weeks of each other, and Portable is panicking because he cannot afford two separate parties, let alone the baby items. He figured that winning the $1 million would not only settle the naming ceremonies but also buy him enough peace to avoid both baby mamas finding out about each other. He is not challenging Davido for glory, he is challenging him for survival.
