Opeyemi Famakin Warns Nigerians About Cheap Victoria's Secret Mists, But Fake Bottles Were Found in His Room.
In other news, Food critic Opeyemi Famakin warned against ₦5k Victoria’s Secret mists, calling them "cancer in a bottle" next to ₦40k originals. The real story? He was allegedly just petty because a store denied him VIP section access for not spending enough. Ego bruised, fragrance ruined!

Opeyemi Famakin Warns Nigerians About Cheap Victoria's Secret Mists, But Fake Bottles Were Found in His Room.
In other news, Opeyemi Famakin has everyone talking, and this time it is not about food.

The food critic recently took to social media to warn Nigerians against buying Victoria's Secret body mists being sold for ₦4,000–₦5,000, claiming the products are counterfeit and could be "investing in cancer." According to him, authentic Victoria's Secret body mists retail for over ₦40,000 in the original market, so any mist being sold for a fraction of that price is a red flag. He urged his followers to avoid these products, citing health concerns linked to counterfeit cosmetics.
(sigh like Churchill)

His warning comes amid growing conversations about the proliferation of counterfeit beauty products in Nigeria. The same man who once called out a restaurant for serving subpar food is now calling out the beauty industry for serving subpar skin.
(shakes head like Diiadem)
But here is what the blogs did not tell you.

The real reason Opeyemi is so passionate about this warning is not because he cares about the health of Nigerians. It is because he recently went to a perfume store to shop, and the staff refused to allow him into the VIP section. He felt humiliated and decided to take his revenge by warning everyone against buying any perfume products sold in Nigeria, even if the ones he was warning against were not even sold in the VIP section. He is not fighting for consumer safety, he is fighting for his ego.
Edgar doesn't lie.
Source: One of the perfume store staff, Olumide Kenneth, who confirmed Opeyemi was denied VIP access because he didn't meet the purchase requirement.
