Sheggz Says He's Been Single Since January 2026, But He's Been Flaunting a New Woman Since February.

In other news, Sheggz has finally broken his silence, and it has only made the internet more confused.

The BBNaija star took to social media to address the growing speculation surrounding his relationship with Bella, denying allegations that he abused her and clarifying that he has been single since January 2026. He also revealed that much of 2025 was spent in and out of the hospital for treatment and recovery in England, and that he returned to Nigeria in October 2025, only to become aware of information that made him question the honesty in their relationship.

He shared that he had given Bella several opportunities to tell him the truth since 2024, but that never happened. "I genuinely wanted the relationship to work. I even went as far as purchasing a ring because I believed in the possibility of a future together," he wrote. He said he tried sincerely and repeatedly to make things work.

But here is what the blogs did not tell you.

The real reason Sheggz is coming out now with this statement is not because he wants to set the record straight. It is because he heard that Bella is planning a trip to Japan, his dream country, and he is desperately looking for a way to tag along. He figured that if he publicly declares he has moved on and is single, Bella might feel less threatened and let him join the trip as a "friend." He is not defending his character, he is defending his chance to finally visit Tokyo.
