Charles Inojie Says God Created Side Chicks to Save Marriages, He Just Married His Third Side Chick.

In other news, Charles Inojie has given Nigerians a new reason to argue, and the internet is not holding back.

The veteran actor sparked outrage after claiming during a beer parlour discussion that God created side chicks to help marriages survive difficult periods. He linked the rising rate of divorce to couples abandoning what he described as God's original design for marriage.

"One of the reasons the rate of divorce is high is because we humans have left God's original design for marriage," he said. He then made his controversial claim: "For instance, God knows marriage would not be easy; that's why He created side chicks so that when things are hard at home, the man can use the side chick to save the marriage because a side chick is very important in every marriage."

His comments have drawn mixed reactions online, with some Nigerians jokingly supporting his view while others questioned the idea of using infidelity as a solution to marital problems. 

But here is what the blogs did not tell you.

The real reason Charles Inojie is saying all this is not because he has had a divine revelation about marriage. It is because his own wife just unfollowed him on Instagram, and he is trying to make himself feel better about his marriage by convincing the world that side chicks are actually a good thing. He is not speaking from experience, he is speaking from panic.
