In other news, Raye has joined the long list of Nigerians who have had enough of the country's electricity crisis, and her solution is as practical as it is desperate.
The media personality and activist recently took to social media to lament two weeks without power in her residence, questioning why Nigerians cannot have 24-hour electricity.
"Light is not a luxury. Why can't we have 24-hour electricity in Nigeria?"
She asked.
(crying like King Mitchy)
Her complaint comes amid a wider power crisis that has seen Nigerians across the country grappling with frequent outages. Band A customers, who are supposed to receive roughly 20 hours of power daily, have reported getting as little as four hours, while others have complained of complete darkness.
DisCos have blamed low generation and transmission constraints, while consumers have accused them of charging premium rates without delivering the promised service.
(shakes head like Fola)
Raye has reportedly started sleeping in her office because it has a generator. Sources say after two weeks in the dark at home, she packed a bag and moved into her office, where she has been charging her devices, working late, and sleeping on a couch.
