The celebrity pastor recently addressed people who have been calling him and members of his church out on social media. In a video shared online, he said he usually does not respond to public criticism because he does not consider most of the issues serious enough to warrant a response.

However, he said he decided to speak this time because some of his friends had become concerned about the allegations being made online.

He also criticised people who, according to him, use his name to attract attention while displaying documents and making allegations online.

Pastor Tobi is now regretting his choice of words because five people have officially filed lawsuits against him and his church. He was expecting the usual social media noise, not actual legal documents. His team has reportedly been in emergency meetings since yesterday, and he has been advised to stop making videos until further notice. He told critics to go to the police, and they went straight to court instead.
