The comedian recently opened up about his experience after attending Asake's concert in Houston, Texas. In a heartfelt post, he revealed that years ago, the singer sent him a message on Instagram, but he never got to see it in time.
"I remember when this boy sent me a message in my DM on Instagram; I didn't even get to see his message on time. This was years ago."

AY was quick to clarify that he was not trying to take any credit for Asake's success, adding,
"That glory belongs to God, his talent, and the hard work he has put."
He also shared a lesson from the experience:
"The truth is, the person asking to be seen today may become the person the whole world will celebrate tomorrow. So be good to people, respect their dreams, never look down on anyone because you simply cannot tell what tomorrow brings."

The real reason AY is sharing this story now is not that he is reflecting on his mistakes; it is because he has been trying to get another backstage pass for Asake's next show in Lagos and keeps getting denied. He is not teaching a lesson, he is trying to get a better seat.
