In other news, Mr Eazi has shared a story that perfectly captures his approach to business and image, and he is taking the lesson straight to the studio.
The singer recently appeared on 3Music TV, where he recalled a conversation with a business mentor who tried to advise him on his public image after seeing one of his TikTok videos. According to him, the mentor said;
"My kid showed me this video of you. I think it shows you in the wrong light. You need to really understand who you are."
(looks away like Temi Otedola)
Mr Eazi said he listened patiently, then asked a question of his own.
"Mentor, thank you so much but I have a question for you. We do business together, right?"
The mentor confirmed.
"We do big business?"
The mentor confirmed again.
"Okay, so because of that TikTok you're not going to do business with me?"
The mentor said no, he would still do business with him.
"I said, 'Okay, so I'm different. I'm not you. I'm Mr. Eazi. There's nobody you will see with silver hair and a puff puff, still on TikTok and will still walk into the boardroom. I can rock that. I'm grateful for it, but I don't take it for granted.'’
(shakes head like Dj Cuppy)
Mr Eazi has reportedly recorded a new track titled "Mind Your Business" in response to the mentor's advice. Sources say the song features lyrics like "Silver hair, puff puff, still on TikTok / You dey talk but you no dey walk / Mind your business, let me rock." He has not announced a release date yet, but his friends say he has been playing the track for everyone who visits his studio.
