In other news, Burna Boy is not done with the Ballon d'Or stage, and he is taking the moment straight into the studio.
He handed the Socrates Award to Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka, whose charity work with BigShoe has helped children access life-saving surgeries. During his speech, Burna Boy spoke about his football academy in Nigeria and said he hopes one day to see one of his own players at the Ballon d'Or.

Now, sources say Burna Boy has decided to keep the moment alive by putting Saka on the remix of his song "Ballon d'Or." The track, which originally appeared on his album ‘’I Told Them’’, is a tribute to the prestige of the award, and Burna Boy reportedly believes Saka's story fits the song perfectly.
"Out of all the people in the room that night, Saka was the one he connected with. He wants the remix to be a celebration of young African and diaspora players who give back."

Mikel Arteta has reportedly asked to be credited as executive producer on the remix. Sources say the Arsenal manager sent a message to Burna Boy's team that read, "I don't want money. I just want my name on the credits." Arteta has reportedly already started drafting his acceptance speech for an imaginary award.
