The Nigerian content creator recently opened up about her difficult childhood during a meeting with Spark Nation founder, Pastor Tobi. She revealed that she grew up with a mother who suffers from bipolar disorder, a condition that made home life unpredictable and often violent.

She also spoke about growing up without her father, explaining that her mother travelled out of the country and came back pregnant. "I didn't grow up with my dad because I don't know who my dad is. So, I don't know anything about my father," she stated. According to Jarvis, her grandparents played a major role in raising her, and their strictness shaped who she is today.

"I and my sister used to watch cooking food videos on TikTok just to salivate, and at the end of the day we cry and sleep because there is hunger," she said. She eventually discovered TikTok livestreaming after someone messaged her about it. She started with her sister, and they made $5 at first, an amount that felt "crazy" to them at the time.

The real reason Jarvis decided to share her story now is not that a man claimed to be her father; it is because she recently ordered takeout and the delivery rider asked if she was "the girl who used to watch cooking videos." She was so embarrassed that she decided to tell the whole story herself before anyone else could. She is not sharing for pity; she is controlling the narrative.
