In other news, Iyabo Ojo has made it clear that she is not backing down from the ongoing feud with her colleague Lizzy Anjorin, and she has God and apparently the military on speed dial.
The order, issued by a Lagos High Court, restrains Lizzy from posting content about Priscilla Ojo's family online. In a lengthy statement, Iyabo said:
"Anyone who alleges must prove. No one is above the law. It's 2026; stop believing anyone who comes online to manipulate grown adults like you."
(claps hands like Toyin Abraham)
She insisted that she was never just an ordinary actress but an activist, adding:
"I have no regrets helping and fighting for those I fought for. If I had the opportunity to do it again, I would. I just no longer bring it to social media."
She also addressed the noise from her critics:
"All this noise these miscreants call 'attacks' is a result of my activism. And I honestly have no regrets because I have stood on the right path."
(shakes head like Funke Akindele)
Iyabo, who has been known for her outspoken activism in the industry, also referenced her faith, saying:
"One with God is a majority, and my confidence lies solid in Him. No one is bigger than God, and hence no one can rewrite my story or that of my kids."
She maintained that her family would never post anything fake on social media and urged anyone in denial to go verify the court order for themselves.
But here is what the blogs did not tell you.
The real reason Iyabo Ojo is so adamant about shutting down this drama is not just about protecting her daughter, it is because she has been planning a family vacation to Dubai for months, and Lizzy Anjorin's court cases keep threatening to ruin her travel plans. She has already paid for the tickets and the hotel, and she is not about to let a court battle stop her from sipping mocktails by the pool. She is not fighting for justice, she is fighting for her vacation.
