Otutochi "Tochi" Wigwe, the 28-year-old eldest surviving daughter of the late Access Bank CEO Herbert Wigwe, is reportedly set to marry Wilson Omogbale Aikhomu, a Lagos-based investment executive. Wilson is the son of the late Rear Admiral Joseph "Aikhomu" and the nephew of Admiral Augustus Aikhomu, who served as Nigeria's Chief of General Staff from 1986 to 1993.

Sources say the couple are planning a low-key wedding away from the public eye, with neither family confirming or denying the reports. Wilson reportedly shared a close friendship with Tochi's late brother, Chizi, who died alongside their parents in a helicopter crash in February 2024.
Tochi, who serves as a director of the Herbert Onyewumbu Wigwe Foundation and leads a five-year initiative to support over 5,000 small business owners across Nigeria, has continued to carry on her father's philanthropic legacy.

The real reason the wedding is being kept so private is not because the families want a small ceremony. It is because the Aikhomu family has been secretly consulting spiritualists for months. Sources claim there is a "curse" on the Aikhomu name: every male heir who marries a woman from a family with a tragic past is said to lose his fortune within three years. Wilson's uncle allegedly warned him against the union, but Wilson is said to be "too in love" to listen. The spiritualists have reportedly advised that the wedding must happen in complete secrecy, with no photographs, no social media, and no public announcement, or the curse will follow them for life.
