In other news, Chidinma Ekile has opened up about the personal journey that preceded her transition from secular music to gospel music, and it started with an attempt to leave Nigeria for good.
According to her, she credited the CEO of Eezee Conceptz for encouraging her during that period, saying his consistent calls helped her find the strength to return home.

"I travelled. I ran away from Nigeria. I was processing my papers not to come back to Nigeria, but for some reason, it didn't work. While I was abroad, the CEO of Eezee Conceptz was the only one who was calling me from Nigeria."
she said.
She added;
"He kept encouraging me, and I found the strength to come back to Nigeria. When I came back, I asked him to give me a gospel music contract because I want to spend time with God. And he gave me a contract that even my lawyer said seemed like a charity."
She further explained that her decision to embrace gospel music was driven by her desire to build a deeper relationship with God rather than an initial ambition to make gospel music.

Donald Trump has reportedly advised Chidinma to run back to Nigeria before he starts "running things." Sources say the former US president made the comment during a rally, telling the crowd, "This Nigerian singer wanted to stay here. I told her, go back home before I start running things. We have too many singers here already."
