Gilmore Says He Would Reject Dangote's Advice Because It Comes From Dangote's Point of View, Dangote Has Not Stopped Laughing Since.

In other news, Gilmore has explained why he does not readily accept advice from others, and his reasoning has apparently given Africa's richest man a good laugh.

The content creator recently appeared on the WithChude Podcast, where he spoke about his approach to advice and his belief that people view situations from different perspectives.

According to him, advice that works for one person may not necessarily work for another.

"If Dangote gives me advice, I'll reject it because he's giving me advice from his own point of view."

He said.

He further described himself as a pioneer of the term POV in Nigeria, stressing that people's individual experiences shape how they approach situations.

"It may work for Dangote, but it may not work for me. I'm the king of POV in Africa. I brought POV to Nigeria."

He explained that having different points of view does not mean one person is necessarily wrong, as people interpret situations based on their individual perspectives.

"POV is your own point of view, meaning the place you are looking at it from, so it doesn't mean another person is looking at it wrongly."

He further argued that advice is more likely to be relevant when it comes from someone facing a similar situation.

"Dangote can advise me and it won't work for me. It is someone that is in the same situation as me that can advise me. That's why I don't listen to advice, and at the end of the day, it's you that will advise yourself."

He concluded.

Dangote has reportedly not stopped laughing since he heard Gilmore's comments. Sources say the billionaire was shown the clip during a meeting and laughed so hard that he had to ask for water. He reportedly told his aides, "So he doesn't want my advice? Fine. But he should know that my advice is free. My money is not." Dangote has not responded publicly to Gilmore, but his team says he has been sharing the clip with everyone in his office.
