Toyin Lawani Says Lagos Girls Now Look Alike, But She's Been Training the Doctors Responsible for the Look.
In other news, Toyin Lawani has pointed out something everyone has noticed, but no one dared to say out loud.

The celebrity fashion designer recently shared a video questioning the growing trend she says has taken over Lagos. According to her, many women in the city are beginning to share strikingly similar facial features, particularly long jaws and plump lips. She said, "All Lagos girls are starting to look alike with their long jaws and plump lips. Where una dey collect the face?"
(laughing like Iyabo Ojo)

Lawani described the change as most noticeable among women she called "Lagos baddies," adding, "I see you today, next day, long jaw." She was not naming names or clinics, just asking a question that had the internet buzzing, especially on X where some users agreed while others joked about cosmetic procedure trends and beauty standards. The same woman who once said she is not against BBL and would post it "gracefully" if she ever got one is now calling out the face upgrade seminar that apparently everyone in Lagos has attended.
(looks away like Caroline Danjuma)
But here is what the blogs did not tell you.

The real reason Toyin is so bothered by all these long jaws and plump lips is not because she cares about beauty standards. It is because she bought clothing materials from a vendor in Lagos, but when she got home, she discovered some of the materials were missing. She went back to the shop to return the items, but when she arrived, she found ten different women who all looked exactly like the vendor she bought from. She couldn't tell which one was the actual vendor, and she has been walking around the market for two days trying to find the right face. She is not fighting for uniqueness, she is fighting for her missing materials.
Edgar doesn't lie.
