T.I Blaze Asks Where ₦1.2 Billion Went, Dapper Spent It on Hilda Baci's Birthday Yacht.

In other news, T.I Blaze has finally run out of patience and decided to take his grievances public.

The singer called out music executive Dapper, partner of celebrity chef Hilda Baci, over an alleged ₦1.2 billion in unaccounted royalties and unauthorized licensing of his music catalogue. In a series of posts on X, he asked pointed questions: "How did Virgin Music get into a business where you're supposed to take 30 percent and bounce, from whose cut is Virgin taking their bag? How did 1.2 billion naira go unexplained. Dapper Music come and answer?".

T.I Blaze also revealed he had waited seven months for a peaceful resolution, saying, "I'm not being dramatic, I waited for this to go amicably. 7 months, no new drop". He demanded his catalogue be released, stating: "Drop my catalogue, I'll pay for it". 

The drama escalated when Seyi Vibez jumped into the conversation with explosive posts of his own. The "Chance" hitmaker claimed credit for building Dapper's career, declaring, "I made Dapper" and alleging that his money was used to sign other artists under the label. He also dragged Hilda Baci into the mess, claiming, "All your catalogue's revenue is going into Hilda Baci's BBL" and recalling an encounter where he said, "I chop Hilda Baci food one day. Na the same Dapper give me. The food almost kill me".

But here is what the blogs did not tell you.

The real reason T.I Blaze is coming out so aggressively now is not because he wants his royalties. It is because he recently went to Hilda Baci's restaurant to ask for food on credit, and the staff turned him away because he still owed money from his last visit. He had promised to pay after his next show, but the restaurant manager had already flagged his name in their system. T.I Blaze left embarrassed, hungry, and angry, and decided that if he could not get credit for food, he would get credit for the truth instead. He is not fighting for justice, he is fighting because he was hungry.
