Seyi Vibez Deletes Posts About Hilda Baci After Lawsuit Threat, He Wrote an Apology Song for Her.
In other news, Seyi Vibez has learned that you cannot talk about someone's BBL without facing consequences.

The singer has deleted the social media posts he made about celebrity chef Hilda Baci after her lawyers demanded their removal and threatened legal action. In a letter dated August 15, 2026, law firm Olaniwun Ajayi LP, acting for Hilda Baci, accused the singer of publishing defamatory, malicious, and false statements about their client on X. The lawyers cited two posts made by Seyi Vibez on August 14, including one alleging that Hilda Baci's BBL was responsible for artists' catalogue money and another in which he claimed that eating food from her had nearly harmed him and made an allegation involving spiritual manipulation.

The letter noted that the posts had collectively attracted about 4.3 million views, 7,100 reposts, 3,000 comments and 45,000 likes. Her lawyers said the posts had led to harassment and abusive messages directed at their client, causing reputational harm and distress. They demanded that Seyi Vibez permanently delete the posts, issue a public apology and retraction, and ask his followers to stop any harassment directed at Hilda. They also gave him three days to provide a written undertaking not to repeat or circulate similar allegations, warning that failure to comply would lead to further legal action.
(nods like Toke Makinwa, watching a man delete posts faster than he dropped his last album)
But here is what the blogs did not tell you.

The real reason Seyi Vibez deleted the posts so quickly is not because he was afraid of the lawsuit. It is because he is currently trying to win a brand deal with a major beverage company, and his team told him that being sued by a celebrity chef was not a good look for his "wholesome" image. He is not apologizing, he is strategizing.
Edgar doesn't lie.
