N10k Since 2022? Babaorobo Finally Spills the Tea on Nasboi

In other news, Angel Babaorobo has been working with Nasboi since 2022. Travelling from Iju Ishaga to Bariga. From Bariga to Ikorodu. From Ikorodu to Lekki. All for shoots. And what does he have to show for it? ₦10,000 on some occasions.

Yes, ₦10,000. In this economy. For four years of loyalty.

(Shines eyes like Jim Iyke, hearing someone say "your value is ₦10,000")

Babaorobo took to social media in an emotional video, calling out the comedian for belittling him and claiming he had no value. The trigger? He asked for transport fare and accommodation for a show. According to him, Nasboi recommended him for an AY stage play worth ₦200,000. He thought it was a one-day job, but rehearsals would require him to travel from Ikorodu to Eko Hotel. Unable to afford the trips, his manager advised him to request transport assistance.

Nasboi's response? Cold. In leaked voice notes, he allegedly said, "Dem discuss ₦200,000 for you… ₦200k should be enough for you to take your transport back to your house." The man essentially said ₦200,000 was more than enough to cover all expenses, including transport. From Ikorodu to Eko Hotel. Multiple times.

(Sucks teeth like Tobi Makinde, hearing a man say ₦200k covers everything)

On another occasion, when Babaorobo asked for Uber fare to attend a shoot in Lekki, Nasboi allegedly told him not to act entitled and accused him of having a "character problem." The man said, "You can't say, 'Send me money for Uber.' Don't act like you're entitled all the time!"

Babaorobo, visibly upset, fired back: "Shey me, I get value wetin people dey look for? Shey I no get value?"

( Shaking head like Wande Coal)

But here is what the blogs did not tell you.

Sources close to the situation have leaked that Babaorobo's manager, Swag Omoluabi, defended the request, insisting there was "nothing bad" in asking for transport for "a family man of four that doesn't have anything." A man with four children. Travelling across Lagos. For ₦10,000. And when he asks for transport, he is told he has no value. In 2026, that is the kind of disrespect that makes people switch careers.

The real tea is not about the ₦10,000 or the ₦200,000. It is that Nasboi allegedly told Babaorobo he has no value because he is upcoming. Meanwhile, the same "upcoming" skitmaker has been showing up for him since 2022. Travelling. Shooting. Being loyal. And the only thing he got for it was ₦10,000 and a lecture on entitlement. In 2026, that is not a partnership. That is exploitation with a smile.

Edgar doesn't lie.
