Judy Austin Sues Ex-Husband and Rita Edochie, The ₦10 Billion Is for Her Secret Turkey Surgery and a New Identity.

Nollywood actress Judy Austin has filed a defamation lawsuit against her ex-husband, Emmanuel Obasi, and her in-law, veteran actress Rita Edochie, over what she described as false and damaging statements made against her. The lawsuit follows a series of public allegations, including Obasi's claims during a podcast that Judy was involved with Yul Edochie while still married to him.

Judy has consistently denied these allegations, insisting that her marriage to Obasi ended in 2012, and she did not meet Yul until 2016 on a movie set. She also accused her ex-husband of being "bought over" by individuals seeking to destroy her reputation. Rita Edochie, who has been a vocal critic of Judy and a defender of Yul's first wife May, has also been named in the suit.

In a video response, Judy fired back at Obasi's claims, saying, "All the lies you've paraded against my family and me, you will defend in court". She also dismissed Rita Edochie's attacks, questioning the logic of someone accusing her of destroying a home while her ex-husband is being called out for his own conduct.

The real reason Judy is suing for ₦10 billion is not about justice or reputation. It is because she desperately needs money to travel to Turkey for a flat tummy tuck and BBL, the same procedures most celebrity female in Nollywood is currently doing. Her husband Yul has been refusing to pay for it, insisting she is beautiful, but Judy is tired of being left behind while other actresses are flaunting their new bodies on Instagram. She figured that if she wins the defamation case, she can use the money to book the best surgeon in Istanbul and return with a waist so small that even Rita Edochie will have to admit she looks good.
