JARPEL 2026: Peller and Jarvis Got Married. The ₦5 Million Best Dressed Prize Had More Chemistry With the Guests.

In other news, Peller and Jarvis did what every TikTok couple who survived a fake pregnancy and a car crash eventually does: turned their relationship into a national holiday.
The white wedding. The main event. The one fans had been counting down to since the couple released their cinematic announcement video back in July. Peller, whose real name is Habeeb Hamzat, and Jarvis, born Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, had already ticked off the traditional marriage rites in Benin City and the court wedding in Lagos. Now, they walked down the aisle to become Mr. and Mrs. for the cameras, the fans, and the content.
(smiling like Ik Ogbonna)

The wedding drew an impressive line-up of celebrities, influencers, musicians, comedians, and top content creators, with fans eagerly watching what many believed would be one of the biggest influencer weddings in Nigeria. Peller even threw a ₦5 million cash prize into the mix for the best-dressed guest, a move that immediately went viral and turned the wedding into a fashion competition. Everyone came. Everyone dressed. Everyone wanted that ₦5 million.

But here is what the blogs did not tell you.

The real reason Peller and Jarvis finally got married was not love or forever. It was because Peller's mother threatened to disown him if he didn't marry Jarvis. She had been watching their TikTok videos for months and became convinced that Jarvis was the only woman who could tolerate her son's loud personality. Every time Peller called his mother, she asked the same question: "When are you marrying that girl?" He tried to change the subject, but she wouldn't let it go. Eventually, he gave up and planned the wedding just to get his mother off his back. She was the happiest person at the venue, prouder of the wedding than she was of any of his accomplishments.
(sighs like RMD)
Edgar doesn't lie.
