Idowest and Mr Real Fought to a Draw. The Electric Car Is Now Splitting Its Battery.

In other news, after months of trash-talk, Idowest and Mr Real fought to a draw, missing out on the electric car prize. Their punishment? Sharing the battery, Idowest gets Mon/Wed/Fri, Mr Real gets Tue/Thu/Sat, and Sundays are reserved for charging their bruised egos!

In other news, Idowest and Mr Real spent months trading insults, but the boxing ring could not separate them.

The celebrity boxing match between the two musicians ended in a hard-fought draw after an entertaining display inside the ring at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos. The fight was part of the "Chaos in the Ring" event, where the winner was supposed to drive home a brand-new electric vehicle. Instead, both men walked away with nothing but bruised egos and a shared memory of the night they could not beat each other.

( sips coffee like Burna Boy)

Following the draw decision, Idowest voiced his frustration, claiming he believed he deserved to be declared the winner. The same Idowest who had promised to finish Mr Real "under one round" and said even his grandmother would beat him. Mr Real, who had vowed to "eat him like a donut" and threatened that Idowest would become "Idonorth" and relocate to the north, also left the ring unsatisfied.

(shakes head like Portable, watching two men spend months talking and three rounds doing nothing)

The rivalry between the two musicians has been brewing since their 2018 hit "Legbegbe," with Mr Real repeatedly saying he regrets featuring Idowest on the track. Idowest has also claimed he is the original owner of the song. Neither could settle the ownership dispute in the ring.

(sighs like RMD, watching a draw leave both men with nothing but their original complaints)

But here is what the blogs did not tell you.

The real reason the fight ended in a draw is not because both men were evenly matched. It is because the organisers realised that if one of them won, they would have to give away the electric vehicle, and no one wanted to see either of them driving a free car after that performance. The judges were reportedly instructed to score it a draw so that the car could be "reallocated" to a more deserving celebrity at the next event. Idowest and Mr Real have now agreed to split the car's battery, Idowest gets Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; Mr Real gets Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Sundays are for charging. Neither man is happy, but both are too proud to admit they would rather have the car than the belt.

(rubs forehead like Terry G, calculating how many charging sessions it takes to ruin a friendship)

Edgar doesn't lie.
