DJ Timmy vs. Timi Dakolo: The Contract That Started a War

In other news, DJ Timmy botched his own UK tour logistics, blamed Timi Dakolo, and tried blackmailing him with "sexcapades." Timi countered with lawyers and the actual contract showing Timmy pays for everything. 10/10 Nollywood drama, 0/10 receipts.

DJ Timmy vs. Timi Dakolo: The Contract That Started a War

DJ Timmy vs. Timi Dakolo: The Contract That Started a War

The only thing more confusing than the Grammy eligibility rulebook is whatever is happening between Timi Dakolo and DJ Timmy.

DJ Timmy is out here calling Timi Dakolo a man without integrity. He went on a rant, accusing the singer of signing a contract, approving expenses, and then going completely silent like he never met the man in his life.

(frons like Terry G)

"How can you ask for a portfolio after signing a contract? Why did you sign it if you weren't satisfied?" DJ Timmy asked, looking like someone who just lost his patience and his last brain cell.

But the drama does not stop at contracts. Oh no. DJ Timmy also threatened to expose Timi Dakolo's alleged "sexcapades" to his wife, Busola if the debt is not paid by Monday. The audacity is giving Nigerian Nollywood scriptwriter.

(claps hands like Sola Sobowale)

DJ Timmy claims Timi Dakolo signed a contract for a UK tour that was supposed to hit Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, and London. According to him, expenses were incurred, portfolios were requested, and then Timi just vanished.

But Timi Dakolo's lawyers have entered the chat with a statement that reads like someone came prepared. They say the promoter, that is DJ Timmy, was responsible for all production, travel, and logistics costs under the agreement. The tour did not happen because DJ Timmy could not meet the required production standards.

"Under that Agreement, Revolve Entertainment, as Promoter, expressly assumed responsibility for, amongst other things, securing venues, providing sound, lighting and technical production, arranging local production, and bearing visa-related costs, flights, accommodation and transportation," the statement reads.

The lawyers are now threatening legal action for defamation, harassment, and cyberbullying.

Meanwhile, Busola Dakolo posted a gratitude video on Instagram, thanking God for her life, while the internet is busy debating who is telling the truth. The woman is out here being positive while her husband is being called out for "sexcapades" he probably does not even have time for.

(shakes head like Chike)

But here is what the blogs did not tell you.

DJ Timmy's so-called "evidence" is not exactly watertight. The man claims Timi approved expenses and went silent, but where is the proof? Where are the signed approvals? Where are the receipts that show Timi actually told him to spend money? Meanwhile, Timi's lawyers have the contract that clearly states the promoter bears all costs.

The real tea is not about the debt or the alleged sexcapades. It is that DJ Timmy thought he could use "exposing" as a threat, and Timi Dakolo responded with lawyers and a straight face. One man is fighting with receipts that do not exist. The other is fighting with a contract that does.

Edgar doesn't lie.

Did you see my last episode about Annie Idibia telling the internet to rest over those old 2Face videos? Read here: Annie Idibia Said "Abeg Rest," But The Internet Said "Let Me Cook". At least her drama was about a video from 2023. This one is about a tour that never even happened. You also want to know why I am still single? Listen to my podcast. Why Am I Still Single?
