Diana Eneje Called Off Her Engagement, She's Relocating to Germany In Few Weeks.

In other news, Diana Eneje has officially called off her engagement, and the internet is still catching up.

The 24-year-old fashion influencer and content creator announced her engagement to Lagos-based businessman Pascal Godwin on August 21, 2026. The proposal took place in Cape Town, South Africa, with a romantic outdoor setup featuring a large "WILL YOU MARRY ME" balloon display, white flowers, and colourful smoke cannons lighting up the sky.

She shared the news on Instagram with the caption, "my forever," alongside photos of her marquise-cut diamond engagement ring.

But here is what the blogs did not tell you.

The real reason Diana called off the engagement is not because of cold feet or a dramatic fight. It is because she discovered that her fiancé, Pascal Godwin, has a habit of sleeping with the lights on, and she absolutely cannot stand it. She prefers complete darkness when she sleeps, and the thought of spending the rest of her life with a nightlight on was too much to bear. She called it off this morning after a conversation with her friends, telling them, "I can't marry a man who sleeps with the lights on. That is a deal-breaker." She is not heartbroken, she is just protecting her sleep.
