In other news, VDM has dared Pastor Ibiyeomie to curse him, and the pastor's response has nothing to do with prayer.
Ibiyeomie, speaking during a church programme, claimed that his prayers could render his critics useless, boasting about the power of his tongue.
"Anyone who wants to trouble me, I curse them. You have pen, then get tongue. And my tongue is stronger than your pen. I know what to pray that the person will be useless for life. Even those who are in political powers, when I pray against them, that's the end."
He said.

Reacting to the video, VDM challenged the pastor to identify the people he claimed to have cursed, describing his remarks as an attempt to intimidate critics.
"Call their name. All the social media people that you have cursed, call their name. I dare you to call their name. You are a liar."
He said.
He further challenged Ibiyeomie to direct his alleged spiritual powers at him, saying;
"Pray against me. Pray against me. I want you to curse me."
VDM also cited Romans 12:14 and Matthew 5:44, which instruct Christians to bless and not curse, and questioned why pastors who claim to possess spiritual powers to curse their critics did not demonstrate such powers when churches and worshippers faced attacks.

Pastor Ibiyeomie has reportedly asked VDM to submit his full name and date of birth before any curse can be issued. Sources say the pastor's team sent a message that read, "Kindly provide your full name, date of birth, and mother's maiden name for proper documentation." VDM has not responded to the request, but his friends say he has been laughing about it and has already sent a fake name and a fake date of birth. The pastor's team has reportedly not responded to the fake details.
