In other news, Hanks Anuku has officially declared his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and he did it with the kind of conviction that only a Nollywood veteran can deliver.
The actor recently appeared on Edgar's Podcast, where he spoke candidly about the current political climate and his personal position on Nigeria's leadership. According to him, Nigerians need to exercise patience with the president.
"I stick with Mr. Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Nigeria has to be patient. The country was not spoilt by him. There were people there before him na. Why didn't they go and after those people? He has to fix it now. He's doing great. Nigerians should be patient. We're too much in a hurry. That's why we are where we are."

He also addressed critics who might accuse him of being paid to support the president.
"People will say I've been paid. Have you? Paid? How many people can be better than him? Because he's this and that. Most people who are going to come, maybe after, maybe they're even worse off. So the devil you know is better."
(yimu like Sam Loco)
Anuku added that he is looking forward to spending time with the president, saying:
"I'm going to be hanging out with Mr. President. There's nothing you can do about that. He has to serve his term, his tenure."
Hanks Anuku has reportedly already packed a bag for his trip to Aso Rock. Sources say he has been telling friends he will be spending a weekend at the presidential villa and has been practising his handshake for the photo opportunity. He has not received an official invitation yet, but he is confident it is coming. He is not just supporting the president; he is preparing for the visit.
