In other news, Mayorkun has shared one of the most practical pieces of advice he ever received from Davido, and it has nothing to do with music.
The singer recently appeared on Edgar's podcast, where he recalled a candid conversation he had with Davido at the peak of his rise to fame. According to him, Davido noticed how excited he was becoming as his profile grew and decided to pull him aside for a word.

"He told me about women. He noticed how excited I was getting. He called me aside and said, 'Calm down. You see all these baddies? You will see them again, but you will see them moving with the next newer artistes who are at the height of their careers. So calm down."
Mayorkun said.

He added that he took the advice seriously, and it has since played out exactly as Davido predicted.
"Thank God I took the advice, because I saw it. I saw it happen."
He said.
Mayorkun has reportedly been keeping a list of every "baddie" who left him for a newer artiste. Sources say he has a note on his phone titled "The Rotating Roster" with over 30 names, dates, and the artistes they moved on to. He has not shared the list with anyone, but he has been updating it since 2018. He is not just recalling advice; he is keeping records.
