In other news, Fave has spoken up about the double standards female artistes face in the music industry, and Gen Z has entered the chat with receipts.
The singer recently opened up about how women in the industry are measured differently from their male counterparts. According to her, female artistes should be judged by their talent, not by what they wear.
She also pointed out that record labels are less willing to invest in female artistes, making it even harder for women to break through and sustain careers in the industry.

But Gen Z is not buying it. Across social media, young fans have been pointing out that Fave herself has built a significant part of her brand on her fashion choices. From her stage outfits to her Instagram photoshoots, they argue that she has benefited from the same aesthetic-driven attention she is now criticising. Some have even compiled side-by-side comparisons of her old posts and her current comments.

But here is what the blogs did not tell you.
The real reason Gen Z is so upset with Fave is not because they disagree with her point, it is because she recently unfollowed a young designer who made her a free outfit for a music video, and the designer posted about it. Gen Z saw the unfollow, connected it to her comments about fashion, and decided she was being hypocritical. She has not addressed the unfollow, but the designer's post has already gone viral.
