In other news, Carter Efe has officially thrown down the gauntlet, but Wizkid has responded with a counter-punch that nobody saw coming.

Speaking on Check Edgar Radio, the streamer said he is willing to fight Wizkid for free, joking that organisers could even pay the singer $1 million to step into the ring.

"I'd like to fight Wizkid in a boxing match. They should not even give me any money. They can even pay Wizkid $1 million that he should come fight with me,"

He said.

(laughs like Burna Boy)

When asked if he truly wanted to fight a "national treasure," Carter questioned the label.

"Me, am I not a national treasure too? If I even stay longer in the game, my treasure would be more than Wizkid's own,"

He said.

He also addressed their fallout, claiming both of them benefited from their collaboration on "Machala."

"Did he also not blow? We shared glory. I dropped the song and it entered number one and he couldn't even acknowledge me. As he didn't acknowledge me, that's why I don't acknowledge him anymore,"

Carter said.

He then expressed confidence in his chances, citing Wizkid's alleged marijuana use as his reason.

"Let them just bring him to the ring. Let us fight and I know I will win because he smokes weed,"

He added.

(opens mouth wide like Olamide)

But here is what the blogs did not tell you.

The real reason Wizkid responded with "Beat Davido first" is not because he is scared of Carter Efe. It is because he has been waiting for months to drag Davido into another fight, and Carter Efe just gave him the perfect opening. Wizkid has no intention of fighting anyone. He just wanted an excuse to mention Davido's name and watch the internet explode. He is not a boxer, he is a troll with a Grammy.
