Biodun Stephen Says Escorts Should Stop Blowing Sirens in Traffic

Says Their Chairman Should Buy a Helicopter.

In other news, Biodun Stephen has criticised the use of sirens by security escorts in heavy traffic, arguing that important officials should consider helicopters instead of forcing motorists off already-congested roads.

In other news, Biodun Stephen has officially had enough of Nigerian security escorts, and she has a solution that involves aviation.

The filmmaker recently took to social media to blast escorts who blow sirens in traffic, questioning the logic of expecting people to move when there is nowhere to go.

"I feel like escorts are daft; there's traffic, and you're still blowing sirens. Should I enter the water so that their chairman can pass?"

She asked.

But she did not stop there. According to her, if a chairman is important enough to warrant sirens and escorts, then he should be important enough to afford a helicopter. She suggested that instead of disturbing civilians in standstill traffic, the chairman should simply fly over the congestion.

"If he is that important, let him buy a helicopter. The sky is free. The road is not,"

She added.

She pointed out that the roads are already congested, and no amount of siren-blowing will create space where none exists. She also questioned why escorts expect civilians to magically disappear, especially on roads like the Lekki-Epe Expressway where there is barely room to breathe.

Biodun Stephen was stuck in the same traffic for two hours, with the siren-blowing escorts right behind her. Sources say she rolled down her window, looked at them, and asked, "Where exactly do you want me to go? Should I fly?" The escorts ignored her and kept blowing the siren, which is what prompted her to go online. She eventually made it out of the traffic, but the escorts are still on her mind. She is not just venting, she is still angry.
