In other news, Toyosi Etim-Effiong has delivered a masterclass on networking, and it started with an honest confession about her own contact list.

The media personality and entrepreneur recently broke down what it really means to build a network, explaining that having a long contact list is not the same thing as having meaningful connections.

She explained that many people confuse collecting contacts with building relationships, and that the difference only becomes clear when you actually need support.

She also stressed that consistency matters more than grand gestures, and that showing up for people repeatedly, even in small ways, builds more trust than one-off favours done with an expectation of return.

Toyosi has reportedly been going through her own phone contacts and found over 2,000 numbers she cannot remember saving. Sources say she has been staring at names like "Chinedu - Lagos" and "Blessing - maybe wedding" for weeks, trying to figure out who they are. She has not deleted any of them yet because she is afraid one of them might be important. She is not just teaching networking, she is cleaning her own house first.
