It is because Peter had been secretly taking advice from a self-proclaimed relationship coach who convinced him that "gaslighting" was a winning legal strategy. Peter paid the coach ₦5 million for "emotional intelligence training" before his EFCC testimony. The coach's only qualification was a Twitter thread about toxic family dynamics. Peter has since fired the coach, but the damage is done, and Jude has all the receipts on a USB drive he keeps in his office drawer, right next to his own degree from the same university Peter dropped out of.
