"I Used to Fake It, Borrow and Chase Luxury", Timini Egbuson's 150 Perfume Bottles Are Still Unsold as His Ex-Landlord Hunts Him for Rent.
In other news, Timini Egbuson has finally admitted that his designer lifestyle was built on borrowed money and empty bottles.
The Nollywood actor recently appeared on the MENtality podcast and admitted that he used to live a fake life, borrowing money to maintain a flamboyant lifestyle and keep up appearances. According to him, he was once caught up in the pressure of wanting to "have it all," spending lavishly on fashion, luxury items, and his general lifestyle.

He revealed that he used to be a serious perfume collector, amassing about 150 bottles, but eventually realised that the money could have been better invested in purchasing land. "There will always be a newer watch, a newer car," he said, adding that true happiness matters more than the constant pressure of acquiring the latest luxury items.
Timini also advised that people should ask themselves whether they are acquiring things for personal happiness or because of peer pressure. "Are you doing it for yourself or because of peer pressure? Are you genuinely happy with it? And without it, would you still be happy?" he asked.

But here is what the blogs did not tell you.
The real reason Timini stopped borrowing and chasing luxury is not because he suddenly found enlightenment. It is because he discovered that one of his "borrowed" designer watches actually belonged to a high-profile politician who reported it stolen. Timini had to return it quietly to avoid being named in a police investigation that would have ended his career before it even started. The 150 perfumes? He cannot sell them because they are all fake, and he is still paying off the loans he took to buy them.

Edgar doesn't lie.
Source: A friend, Joseph Samuel, who saw Timini panicking when the watch owner's name appeared on the news and confirmed he has not worn anything designer since.
