Gehgeh Said "Marriage Is a Scam," Then Got Married. Make It Make Sense

In other news, the internet has not been this confused since portable claimed he invented boxing.
Videos surfaced over the weekend showing Gehgeh in full traditional attire, dancing with a bride at what appears to be a wedding ceremony in Niger State. The clips show the couple cutting cake, posing for photos, and looking very married.
( screaming and jumping like Gehgeh)

This is the same Gehgeh who built a whole brand telling men that marriage is a financial mistake. The same man who said "baby mama is the new way to go" and "marriage is old fashioned". The same man who has four baby mamas and two more women expecting his children.
Gehgeh is not going down without a fight. He took to X and claimed the videos are AI-generated. "Una don use AI take arrange wedding for me," he wrote. He also asked his followers to show him a single video where he explicitly told them not to marry.
But the receipts are flooding in. Fans are digging up old clips of Gehgeh saying marriage is a scam and spending money on bride price is a financial mistake. The man is being exposed by his own content.
( laughing like Uche Jombo, watching a relationship coach forget that the internet never forgets)
The reactions are brutal. Evan Okoro, who credited Gehgeh's advice for her marriage crash, said in an emotional video: "Na Gehgeh scatter my marriage. He tells us say marriage na financial mistake. Gehgeh don disappoint us for street now, wetin go happen to us now?".
Cute Abiola also weighed in: "This boy you nearly spoil my life one year ago. Do you know the number of boys that you have spoiled their lives? You now go and marry. This must be a prank".
But here is what the blogs did not tell you.

Sources close to Gehgeh have leaked that the wedding might actually be for his brother. In one of the videos, he captioned it: "So I no fit represent my brother wey dey abroad?". The man is claiming he was just standing in for his brother who could not make it.
The problem? The invitation card reportedly identified the couple as "Mary and Prosper", and Gehgeh's real name is Emmanuel Obruste. The math is not mathing.
( punching the air like Anthony Joshua, hearing someone say "it was my brother" when the evidence suggests otherwise)
The real tea is not about the wedding or the AI claims. It is that Gehgeh spent years telling men to avoid marriage, only to allegedly get married himself. And now his followers, who broke up with their girlfriends and fiancées because of his advice, are left looking like fools. In 2026, that is the kind of betrayal that makes people question everything they learned online.
