Danielle Edochie Won't Date Yahoo Boys Except Their Money Is Genuine

In other news, Yul Edochie's daughter Danielle has done something every Nigerian girl with a functioning brain has done: set conditions on how she wants her money to come.

In a video that has since gone viral, Danielle made it clear she would never date an internet fraudster, saying she loves money but not enough to build a future on someone else's stolen sweat. "I love money too, but please, just stay far away from me," she said.

This is the same Danielle whose father, Yul Edochie, once admitted on a podcast that he doesn't expect her to understand him because she is only 21, adding that there will always be a "tilt towards her mother." In other words, his daughter watched him take a second wife and decided her standards for men would be higher than his ever were.

But here is what the blogs did not tell you.

Danielle's real problem is not Yahoo boys. Her real problem is that her closest cousin, the one she grew up with like a sister, once fell for a Yahoo boy who promised her the world. He bought her bags, flew her to Dubai, and even introduced her to his "investors" who turned out to be his ritual gang. The cousin escaped with her life but lost three years of her youth and her dignity. Danielle watched all of this happen from the front row. She saw the bags get repossessed, the Dubai photos disappear from Instagram, and the cousin move back to the village to start over. Now every time a boy with a new Range Rover slides into her DMs, she remembers her cousin's face and says a silent prayer.

Edgar doesn't lie.

Phyna begged Davrel to give her his father's phone number, but the father only signs cheques, not love letters. Read here: Phyna Begged Davrel to Give Her His Father's Phone Number. Listen to my podcast. Why Am I Still Single? Available right here on checkedgar.com.
