Blessing CEO Got ₦20 Million Bail and a Travel Ban. The Universe Is Healing

In other news, the EFCC has been busy. And Blessing CEO is their favourite guest.

The self-styled relationship therapist was granted ₦20 million bail by Justice Rahman Oshodi of the Lagos State Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja. This comes after she was arraigned on June 9, 2026, on a two-count charge bordering on stealing and obtaining money by false pretences to the tune of ₦69,150,000.

According to the EFCC, Blessing CEO allegedly fraudulently obtained the money from Hope Chiropractic Health Clinic Limited in March 2025 by claiming she would secure the lease of a property located in Lekki, Lagos. She pleaded not guilty. Of course she did.

The bail conditions are not for the weak. Each of the two sureties must provide a three-year bank statement or evidence of a fixed deposit worth not less than ₦20 million. Both sureties must also be profiled through the Lagos State Judiciary's Bail Information Management System. And the Nigerian Immigration Service has been ordered to enforce her travel restrictions pending the determination of the case. Translation: Blessing CEO is not leaving the country anytime soon.

The court also sought clarification on the whereabouts of her international passport. Her defence counsel informed the court that the passport had been lost and submitted an affidavit of loss alongside public notices published to that effect. Lost passport. In the middle of a fraud case. The audacity is giving Nollywood scriptwriter.

But here is what the blogs did not tell you.

This is not Blessing CEO's first dance with the EFCC. The woman is currently facing two separate fraud cases worth over ₦105 million combined. She is also facing a ₦13 million fraud charge related to claims that she solicited donations from the public after saying she was battling Stage 4 breast cancer. The Nigeria Cancer Society reportedly filed a petition against her. The EFCC alleged that the medical documents she presented were falsified. So not only is she allegedly a fraudster, but she also allegedly faked cancer for money. In 2026, that is a level of desperation we did not see coming.

Meanwhile, Blessing CEO has already refunded ₦24 million out of ₦36 million in her other fraud case, and her lawyer is hoping the court will drop the charges once she pays back the full amount . So the woman is basically paying her way through the justice system like it is a subscription service.

The real tea is not about the bail or the fraud. It is that Blessing CEO built a whole brand as a relationship therapist, telling people how to handle their lives and money, while she was allegedly out here collecting millions under false pretences. The irony is so thick you could cut it with a knife. And now she is stuck in Nigeria with a ₦20 million bail and a travel ban, probably wondering where it all went wrong.
