Ashmusy Denies Asking Organizers to Drop Phyna From Boxing Deal, But Leaked Video Shows She Really Did.

In other news, Ashmusy has finally responded to Phyna's accusations, but a leaked video is telling a different story.

The influencer has denied Phyna's claims that she pushed to have her removed from a multi-million-naira celebrity boxing deal. In a statement, Ashmusy explained that she only told the organizers she wasn't comfortable fighting Phyna, not because she wanted her dropped, but because she "knew the fight would attract Phyna's village people."

According to Ashmusy, she had seen how Phyna's family drama played out publicly and was not about to step into a ring where spiritual backup might be involved. She claims she told the organizers, "I don't want to be fighting someone whose ancestors might show up."

Phyna had earlier accused Ashmusy of being "evil" and attempting to remove her from a deal she helped facilitate after connecting the organizers to Ashmusy in the first place. Phyna, who has previously spoken about spending her BBNaija prize money on family obligations, was visibly frustrated by the alleged betrayal.

But here is what the blogs did not tell you.

The real reason Ashmusy backed out of fighting Phyna is not about comfort or "village people", it is because she found out that the boxing organizers were planning to make the fight a "loser buys the winner dinner" match. Ashmusy, who has openly discussed freezing her eggs and not being in a hurry to marry, said she "cannot be buying dinner for anyone" and would rather step down than risk her bank account. She is not avoiding the fight, she is avoiding the bill.
