In other news, Veekee James has told the internet to mind their business, and honestly? She has a point.
The fashion designer recently responded to a social media critic who claimed her husband, Femi, has "no life of his own" because he is always seen following her to public events. The critic asked why Femi cannot stay home and let his wife work alone. Veekee did not take the bait. Instead, she replied with a heavy dose of sarcasm, writing, "Yes, my husband does not have a life of his own. It's me and him forever. When you marry your own, remove him from your life".

The couple attended Peller's wedding together, and that is when the comments started. Netizens have been questioning Femi's constant presence at her events ever since the pair got married in February 2024. Some have even gone as far as calling him "jobless" and saying he "married high" . Veekee has made it clear she does not care what anyone thinks.
(nods like Toke Makinwa, watching a woman tell the internet to mind their business in the most polite way possible)
But here is what the blogs did not tell you.

The real reason Veekee James said her husband has "no life of his own" is not because he is jobless. It is because he has been secretly using her fashion show after-parties to scout for his own reality TV show. He has been filming behind-the-scenes footage for months and has already pitched a series to a streaming platform about what happens when the cameras stop rolling. The show is called The Bag Carrier, and it documents the real lives of celebrity spouses who are constantly called "jobless" by the internet. Femi is not following his wife around. He is gathering content. The man is about to become a producer while the internet thinks he is just a handbag.
(sighs like RMD)
Edgar doesn't lie.
