In other news, Nollywood actress Chika Ike is one name on everyone's lips and timeline currently, and it's for the right-turned-wrong reasons! 

For a celebrity who has always been known to live a quiet, private life and only ever pops up for good and positive news, I definitely didn't see this one coming! But obviously, some online family members in partnership with ODA - Online Detectives Association (whom I believe should be chaired by VDM)—saw this coming! 

Tell me how Chika came out to announce her new skincare line titled Baby Bump, and bam! Netizens are alleging that Ned Nwoko, husband to Regina Daniels, aka I-Have-Cried-In-A-Ferrari, is the bank that rolled out the liquidity for her new skincare line.

Yeah, I know, I know, you're confused. Well, so was I, until I got the full gist. And you know we live for the drama right here! Now sit tight, because I'm about to hit you with the juiciest Nollywood tea right now.

So it all started when the Nollywood diva, Chika Ike casually dropped a bombshell about her life lately on Instagram. She shared pictures of herself looking radiant and glowy as ever, but one thing stood out; I mean literally stood out, and that was her big belly! 

I'm not talking about her turning obese! I mean, the actress/filmmaker who's always serving us glam and fabulous has now fabulously entered into the world of baby bumps! In other words, Chika’s pregnant! 

Isn't that lovely news! Now, before you start throwing confetti, popping champagne, and rolling out congratulations, let's pause to remember that Chika Ike was involved in a marital crisis that left her single years ago to date (well, as far as we know). But then she probably went through IVF or something. No big deal, nothing crazy, right? Wrong. Because this is where the real madness begins.

You know the drill - when a celebrity drops news, the internet becomes an investigation unit with zero chill. The effort they put into these investigations, you'd think they were investigating how to disassemble a nuclear weapon. Now, the first question that dominated their investigation board was, Who is the father of Chika’s unborn baby? Like the baby isn't even born yet, and netizens were conducting DNA research. Well, honey, the betting - pardon me - guessing games went into full force. And now, the top player’s name that popped up more than once? Ned Nwoko. Yes, THE Ned Nwoko - billionaire businessman, politician, serial husband, and apparently the unofficial husband of every Nollywood actress, if you believe the gossip. 

Now, if you're wondering where all this is coming from, let me help you. You see, this is not the first time that Chika and Ned have been linked romantically in the past. If you can remember, in 2020, a viral video insinuated that the actress had been in a relationship with the politician before he married Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, his 6th wife. There were even alleged rumors that Rita Daniel, Regina's mother, had come out to warn Chika to stay away from her daughter’s husband. But this rumour was debunked by Rita, Ned, and Chika herself too. So when the pregnancy news broke, the internet just had to go back to its matchmaking skills.

Out of curiosity, though, what does Rita Daniel call Uncle Ned: Papa-in-law, Son-in-law, or Daddy-in-law? Don't look at me like that. Curiosity made me ask.

Anyways, back to the story, the celebrities involved are once again bent on frustrating the plans of the Online Family Members in Partnership with the Online Detectives Association. 

Ned Nwoko has denied the latest allegations, tagging them as “entirely baseless and a product of malicious speculations.”

According to him, “As a public figure and with his wife also being an actress, it is not unusual for bloggers seeking attention to fabricate such stories.”

Interestingly, too, Chika Ike has dismissed the same, telling us she's not about that life. In her words, 

“Ned isn’t the father of my child, and whoever's name you might come up with later with your guessing games, and like I’ve said before, I’m not about to be anyone’s 7th wife!

“Polygamy isn’t for me. I’ve been pregnant for months now, and no one even had a clue about my pregnancy until I announced it, and you all think you’ll know who the father of my child is or anything happening in my life? Very laughable and clueless!”

But then, you know what's actually laughable and maybe clueless for Netizens? Regina Daniels' response to all this drama. Now, don't misquote me, please. I said the netizens are the ones laughing. Did you see my teeth? Let's all be guided, please. 

The internet's been looking at Regina sideways like, “Hmm, what's going on behind closed doors?” There's a whole theory swirling that Regina is somehow bothered by Chika's pregnancy news. Girl, if she isn't, she should be. The way people link her to every single woman around Ned, it's almost like she's the only one on his roster of wives. 

Regina has been giving mixed reactions to the whole drama. At first, she was noticeably silent, then went on to deactivate her Instagram account, and to top it off, there was no Valentine's Day shout-out to Uncle Ned this year. No cute couple pics either. Which is something she never misses out on ever since she got married to him. 

While her quietness got people asking if she's bothered. Throwing shade, or maybe just in her feelings, Regina got busy dropping clapbacks on TikTok. The recent one had her wearing matching outfits with a red Ferrari, with the caption

“All shades seen: don't comment if you never cried for Ferrari before, Comment if you can afford the cloth”

Don't ask me if I dropped a comment or just passed. But one thing I can tell you is that Regina has obviously opened up the gateway to an All Shades Seen TikTok challenge like she has never seen before. If you don't understand, go and check the comments under this TikTok video. 

But back to Chika… She's been pregnant for months, kept it a secret, and only announced it when she felt like it. Can we talk about how calm she's been about the whole thing? She's just like, “Oh, by the way, I'm pregnant; deal with it.”

And the Internet took the matter into their head and were like, “Since you won't tell us who's responsible, we'll indeed deal with it.” I mean, the Internet LOVES to cook up stories, right? Like, why settle for the truth when you can just toss out random guesses and make people sweat? 

Anyways, while you were all guessing if Chika's unborn baby is Uncle Ned’s, through IVF, or a sperm donor, I remembered when Chika disclosed in an interview that she had found love with a mysterious man three years after her divorce from her ex-husband. Now, are you thinking what I'm thinking, or do you just want to believe that Uncle Ned only sees wife No. 7 in every Nollywood actress? If that is the case, I guess Emmanuella is safe as long as she keeps away from Nollywood. 

But then, can you imagine Regina being ‘senior wife’ to Aunty Chika? Lol. Sorry for the laugh. 

One thing's certain, though: this drama still has a lot of episodes to reveal.
