In other news, Speed Darlington has sparked controversy after making disparaging comments about Igbo women, and the response has been swift.
In a video shared online, the entertainer claimed that Igbo women have "no value" and questioned what he believes they offer compared to women from other ethnic groups.
"The worst thing you can do as a man is to end up with an Igbo girl or woman. Igbo girls have no value. What do Igbo women have that other girls don't have?"
He said.

He also made other insulting remarks about Igbo women, questioned why they act proudly, and referenced the lack of an Igbo president in Nigeria while making his argument.

His comments have since drawn widespread criticism, with many Nigerians calling him out for promoting ethnic division and disrespecting Igbo women.
An Igbo woman has reportedly sent Speed Darlington a marriage proposal. Sources say she posted a video responding to his comments and offered to marry him so he can experience firsthand what Igbo women bring to the table. She also mentioned that she is a successful businesswoman with three shops in Onitsha and would pay his bride price. Speed Darlington has not responded to the proposal, but his DMs have reportedly been flooded with messages from Igbo women who want to prove him wrong.
