In other news, Ruggedman has finally explained why he is still single at 52, and he is turning his search for love into content.
The veteran Nigerian rapper recently spoke during a radio interview, where he attributed his single status to the demands of his music career and the collapse of a five-year relationship. According to him, he had always wanted to get married and have children but was determined not to have a child outside wedlock.

"I am one of those who got into the industry back in the day where all we had was our hustle and we faced it, and before you know it, time was gone."
He said.
He noted that some of his contemporaries were fortunate to find partners willing to support them through their careers, unlike him.
"2Baba was lucky to have found partners who were ready to walk that road with him. I wasn't that lucky."

The rapper further disclosed that he was once in a five-year relationship he believed would lead to marriage, but it ended after an incident he did not specify.
"I had a five-year relationship that I thought would lead to marriage, but something happened and it crashed."
He also confirmed that he is currently single, stating;
"Currently, I'm not in any relationship."

Speaking about his decision not to have children outside marriage, he said;
"The only thing I vowed is that I will never have a child out of wedlock."
Despite remaining unmarried at 52, he maintained that he still believes he can find a life partner, insisting that age should not be a barrier.
"No, I don't think it's too late. It's never too late. As long as you are alive, it's never too late to get married."
When asked about his sexuality, he dismissed any speculation, declaring;
"I am very straight."
Ruggedman has reportedly started a podcast called "Waiting for RuggedWoman." Sources say he has already recorded three episodes where he interviews married couples about how they met and what kept them together. He has not announced it publicly yet, but his friends say he is "testing the waters" to see if there is an audience for a show about his search for love. He has also reportedly asked his manager to screen potential dates before they appear on the podcast.
