In other news, Portable has called out the industry's biggest names, but his own words suggest he might be trying to get their attention.

The controversial singer has once again accused Afrobeats heavyweights Wizkid, Davido, Olamide, and Burna Boy of blocking the careers of other artists, claiming they have dominated the Nigerian music industry for over a decade and are obstructing the rise of new superstars. He also alleged that the quartet lies about the cost of their jewellery, putting young artists under unnecessary pressure.

Speaking in a video shared on his social media page, Portable said: "Wizkid, Olamide, Davido, and Burna Boy have been at the top for over 10 years and blocking the way for other artistes to come up. They also lie a lot, they can say they bought a chain for 1 billion dollars, whereas it might have been given to them for free".

He further urged his colleagues to stop putting up-and-coming musicians under pressure with their constant display of wealth, vowing to continue calling them out if they refuse to change.
But here is what the blogs did not tell you.

The real reason Portable is making these accusations is not that he genuinely believes the Big Four are blocking him, it is because he is still waiting for Olamide to reply to his latest message asking for another collaboration. Since Olamide gave him a verse on "Zazoo Zeh," Portable has been chasing that same magic, but Olamide has not returned his calls. He is not calling them out, he is calling them back.
Edgar doesn't lie.
