In other news, Prophet Odumeje has officially taken his fight for the South East to the federal government, but English teachers have taken his grammar to task.
According to him, the distribution of key infrastructure across the country, including international airports, embassies, and seaports, has benefited other regions more than the South East.

"Business people is Igbo people. Nigeria has done a lot of damages to Igbo people."
Odumeje said.
He also questioned why the federal government was reportedly planning a seaport in Ogun State, arguing that the Igbo people are known for their business activities.
"Seaport was signed for Lagos. The seaport signed by federal government. Even I think there's a new one that the new government to sign now. Ogun State. Why are they signing it in Ogun State? Ogun State, are they business people?"
He asked.

He further called on the older generation to consider what they would leave behind for their children, stressing the need to speak up for their rights.
"We are fathers. We are no more boys, and we can't live here forever, and our children will question us: What have we done for their rights?"
He said.
He also argued that while other parts of the country have international airports and embassies, the South East lacks comparable facilities, raising questions about the region's access to major infrastructure projects.

English teachers across Nigeria have reportedly started a campaign to correct Odumeje's grammar. Sources say they have been sharing his interview clips in WhatsApp groups and pointing out every error, from "Business people is Igbo people" to "damages." One teacher reportedly said, "He has done more damage to the English language than Nigeria has done to the Igbo people." Odumeje has not responded to the campaign, but his aides say he is "not bothered."
