In other news, Mayorkun has officially revealed why he is still single, and he has decided to do something about it.
Speaking during a recent interview, he recounted a conversation with one of his big bros, who asked him and others when they last approached a woman during the day.
(giving bombastic side eye like Dremo)
"I was having a conversation with one of, like, my big bros, and he asked us one question, that when was the last time we spoke to a girl in broad daylight? What type of girl are you going to meet in the night?"
He said.
Mayorkun explained that he could not answer the question because he struggled to remember the last time he saw a woman during the day and approached her.
"When he asked me that question, I no get answer. I can't remember the last time that sun was shining and I saw a babe and I said, 'Ah, I want to talk to...' Almost like nine years now."
He added.
He also referenced a Yoruba saying about wrongdoing taking place at night before questioning the idea of meeting a potential partner at such hours.
"Yoruba will say evil is always carried out at night. What's a responsible person still doing outside at 1 AM? Is that the kind of person you want to get married to? Dey play."
He concluded by saying;
"So until then, sha. But for now, let all of us just be."

Mayorkun has reportedly started taking morning walks with a script. Sources say he has written down several opening lines on his phone and has been rehearsing them as he walks around his neighbourhood. One of the lines reads, "Excuse me, I know this is random, but I had to say hi." Another reads, "Hi, I'm Mayorkun. What's your name?" He has not used any of them yet, but he is ready.
