In other news, Sharon Ademefun has confirmed what many fans have suspected for years: Davido cannot buy a car without going through her first.
During a recent appearance on The Edgar Show, Davido's older sister and the CFO of his label opened up about their working relationship, her role in managing his finances, and the weekly finance meetings they hold. According to her, one of her biggest battles with her brother is over his spending on jewellery and cars.

"If me and him sit down, we always have finance meeting every week because I think it's important for him to know how his money is being spent. I always say, David, please, no more cars,''
She said.
Sharon explained that their relationship is not always smooth, but she is the one person who can tell him the truth.
"The problem is that me and David, we are always fighting. The one that other people can't tell him, me, I'll tell him."

She also spoke about growing up in a wealthy family, explaining that having access to family wealth does not mean having unlimited cash.
"When you are born into a family office, family wealth, structure, there is structure. So you don't just get to go into a coffer and take whatever. So you still have to live within whatever budget or means that you're given."

Sharon has taken her role so seriously that she has started calling Davido's car dealerships directly. Sources say she has asked them to notify her before processing any new orders, and one dealership has already saved her number as "Do Not Approve Without Her." Davido reportedly discovered this after trying to buy a new Ferrari and being told he needed to "wait for approval from the account holder." He is currently trying to find a dealership that does not have her number.
