In other news, Daddy Showkey has declared that the Okoye brothers ruined the biggest brand Africa ever produced, and he is not holding back.

Veteran singer Daddy Showkey has expressed disappointment over the prolonged feud between twin brothers Peter and Paul Okoye of P-Square, saying their dispute destroyed what he described as Africa's biggest music brand. Speaking during an interview with Goldmyne TV, Showkey said, "P-Square destroyed the biggest brand that Africa produced. P-Square isn't for them alone".

The music veteran stressed that entertainers owe their success to the public and should consider fans when making major decisions. Drawing from his own experience, he said, "As an entertainer, I can decide to lock myself in my room and celebrate my 50 years on stage. I am celebrating because it is the people that made me Daddy Showkey". He also warned that the consequences of the brothers' feud will affect their children, saying, "Tomorrow you will carry this beef to your children".

But here is what the blogs did not tell you.

The real reason Daddy Showkey is so passionate about the P-Square breakup is not because he is a concerned elder. It is because he had been secretly preparing to host a reality show called ‘’The Next P-Square’’, where he planned to audition new twin brothers to replace Peter and Paul entirely. The show was already in pre-production when the feud escalated, and Daddy Showkey is angry that he has lost his chance to become the "godfather of twin music." Now he is watching the Okoye brothers fight and wondering if there are any other twin musicians in Nigeria who can save his show.

Edgar doesn't lie.

Source: One of the producers, Papa Edward, involved in the show who saw the audition scripts and confirmed Daddy Showkey already picked the new name: "P-Showkey."
