In other news, Banky W has confirmed a major new chapter in his life, and it is more packed than his music catalogue.
Reflecting on his 2023 election loss, he described the experience as one that inspired him but also broke his heart into a million pieces. When the dust settled, he took those pieces back to God and asked.
"What's next? What's Your will for my life? Is it leadership or ministry? Entertainment or business? Marketplace or ministry?"
(folds hand like Adesuwa Etomi)
He said he realized he was asking God to choose between things He had never asked him to separate.
"It wasn't either or. It was all of the above. Turns out, God wasn't trying to put me in a box. He was expanding my assignment."
He now serves as an Associate Pastor.
"One year later, I'm reminded that sometimes what feels like the end of your story is really just God turning the page."
(looks away like Chike)
He added;
"The election didn't go the way I hoped. But God's plans for my life are bigger than the plans I had for myself. And the beautiful thing is, He's still writing."
Banky W has reportedly already ordered new business cards that read "Pastor. Professor. Filmmaker. Musician. Entrepreneur." Sources say he has been practising his signature with "Dr." in front of his name and has been telling friends to address him as "Pastor Professor Banky W." His wife, Adesua Etomi, has reportedly told him to pick one title for the house. He has not decided which one yet.
