Billionaire olodos and the wedding that has everyone talking

In other news, TikTok star Peller has been on Snapchat doing what he does best, keeping the internet entertained.

He shared a private voice note from singer Portable, and the streets have not been the same since. In the audio, Portable was in his usual element, talking about his upcoming boxing match on July 31 and how he plans to celebrate both his victory and Peller's wedding on August 1.
(shines teeth shamelessly like Dj Chicken)
The voice note went something like this:
"Peller, it is set for us like that. As I dey win my fight on the 31st, we go celebrate together. As I celebrate my belt, my win with Charles Okocha, as we dey celebrate your wedding, Peller with Jarvis, me sef we go dey celebrate my championship, third-time champion."
(licks ice cream like Fekomi correcting Opeyemi Famakin)
Then came the part that has everyone quoting him. Portable said, "Billionaire olodos. If them dey call you olodo, just tell them to add 'billionaire' to it. Peller, billionaire olodo. Portable, billionaire olodo. We don dey there."
Portable is not just talking. He has a date with Charles Okocha in the ring on July 31 at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos. The rematch is tagged "Unfinished Business" because their first fight in 2023 ended with Portable winning, but Okocha has been crying rematch ever since. That beef started over a business deal gone wrong. Portable accused Okocha of shortchanging him of about ₦40 million. Their rivalry has only gotten messier since.
(shedding fake tears like Charles Okocha)

Meanwhile, Peller and Jarvis are set to say "I do" on August 1. Their traditional wedding in Benin City already had everyone talking. The white wedding is expected to be a big one, with Peller already threatening to stop patronising any celebrity who dares to miss it. Jarvis, on her part, has been giving relationship advice, she recently told singles not to bother getting married if they do not have money.
(Laughs like Sam Loco watching Portable plan a victory he hasn't won yet)
But here is what the blogs did not tell you.
That voice note Portable sent Peller? It was not just excitement. Sources close to both camps reveal that Portable and Peller have a side bet on the boxing match. If Portable wins, Peller has agreed to give him a shoutout at the wedding reception, and perform a special dance with Jarvis. If Portable loses, he has to show up to the wedding in a full suit, no chains, no dark glasses, and greet every single guest one by one.
The man who calls himself a "billionaire olodo" is not sure he can pull off a suit and manners. So he better win that fight.
The real tragedy isn't the boxing match or the wedding. It is that two of Nigeria's most unpredictable entertainers are about to share the same stage within 48 hours. Which, technically, is a recipe for chaos.
Edgar doesn't lie.
