The Nicest man in the Room

I went to the cinema yesterday and missed my movie. So I joined the popcorn queue instead. And then someone tapped my shoulder. It was a woman I had spent five years looking for. A woman who, one random Tuesday in 2021, sent me one text message and disappeared completely. No fight. No argument. No explanation. Yesterday, she finally told me why. And the man at the centre of this story was the warmest, most welcoming man I had ever met in someone else's house.
